The Selection Committee Announces the "Street Theater Competition Section" Finalists at the 29th International Theater Festival for Children and Youth.
According to the public relations office of the 29th International Theater Festival for Children and Youth, the festival's secretariat in Hamedan introduced Nazila Nouri Shad, Farzan Delfani, Saeed Kheirollahi, Farzad Labassi, and Nooshin Beiglarian as the members of the selection committee for the "Street Theater Competition Section." The following performances have been chosen for this section:
Street Theater:
1. "We Are Happy," playwright and director: Rouhollah Sanaei from Tehran, Tehran Province
2. "Two Packages of Life," playwright: Arezou Bahrami, directors: Fereshteh Jafari and Mehdi Rouzbehani from Zanjan, Zanjan Province (conditional)
3. "Loyalty," playwright: Razieh Pashaei, director: Fatemeh Jalili Moaz from Hamedan, Hamedan Province (conditional)
4. "The Three-String of Mustache", playwrights: Mojtaba Khalili and Mehdi Iravani, director: Mojtaba Khalili from Isfahan, Isfahan Province
5. "The Secret Box," playwright and director: Hamidreza Rezaei Majd from Hamedan, Hamedan Province (conditional)
6. "Giant Size," playwright and director: Mostafa Koulivandi from Ilam, Ilam Province (conditional)
7. "Storky and His Kind Friends," playwright and director: Ali Faridni from Shahin Shahr, Isfahan Province

The 29th "International Theater Festival for Children and Youth – Hamedan," by artistic directed by Amir Mashhadi Abbas and organized by the Dramatic Arts Center of Iran of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, with the support of Hamedan Municipality and in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Hamedan Province and the Iranian Performing Arts Association, will be held in the historical city of Hamedan in November 2024. The festival slogan is "Theater: A Dialogue Without Borders." The festival aims to "foster empathy and cooperation, as well as the growth, awareness, and confidence of Iranian children through the art of theater."
Other objectives of the 29th International Theater Festival for Children and Youth include

- "promoting public culture,"
- "strengthening the foundations of family and intergenerational communication,"
- "citizenship education and enhancing responsibility by encouraging active participation of Iranian children and youth in theatrical productions."
